We are looking for fresh faces with new ideas to represent the 2011-2012 Alternative Spring Break Executive Board. This is a unique leadership opportunity that gives you the chance to create a high-quality program with one of the largest RSO’s on campus. Join our ASB family!

Last Site Leader Meeting

Our last Site Leader Meeting will be TOMORROW Tuesday -- March 22nd @ 9:00 PM in 300 Human Ecology.  Please bring your first aid kit, Emergency Packets, Evals, and Kleenex --- I know you all are devastated this is our last group meeting.

Also, ASB will be selling fair trade goods during the reorientation event. 
This is a fundraiser that will help reduce the cost of ASB programs and trips. The jewelry, bags, and scarves come from Sharing the Dream in Guatemala, an organization that promotes fair trade with cooperatives and small businesses in Guatemala. The organization is committed to providing fair wages and employment opportunities to low-income artisans. Items range from $10-$40. 
Check out the website to get an idea of the different crafts you can buy as gifts for friends, family members or yourself!

Welcome Back!

Money back to ASB:
  • Make sure you have double checked ALL trip expenditures and labeled all receipts
  • Write a check/money order payable to "Alternative Spring Break" written for the correct amount.  Please no cash.
  • Turn in the check, receipts, and budget sheets to 345 Student Services
  • Turn in INTERNATIONAL PHONES ASAP!
